As a Project Manager, Life Sciences at Blue Sky eLearn, you will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of projects for our Life Science clients using our LMS platform Path eClinical to conduct Clinical Trial Training. Our project managers achieve this through understanding the objectives of the Sponsor (Client) and the key deliverables and milestones of the clinical trial and training requirements. You will bring training expertise, a friendly attitude, obsessive attention to detail, and an investigative mindset to manage and support the implementation of the Clinical Trial Training Portal and ongoing training compliance needs of our clients. You must think methodically, communicate frequently, document thoroughly, and act proactively. You will work cross-functionally with multiple internal team members to develop a keen understanding of client’s unique business needs and challenges and identify and manage any internal resources necessary to realize their goals.

As a member of the Life Sciences team, you will manage a portfolio of projects supporting clinical trial studies with a high-profile portfolio of clients, and as the first touch point in a clients experience after purchasing Blue Sky solutions, you will be a critical player in driving long-term success of the client and demonstrating the value of the Blue Sky solution and team. 

Responsibilities

80% of time in this role will be spent on Project Specific Tasks 
20% of time in this role will be spent on Documentation, Internal Training and Process Improvement

• Understand desired outcomes and manage project scope as agreed with the client to ensure that it is fully executed by both Blue Sky and client.
• Create and maintain required project artifacts including project schedule, training materials, and project requirements documents.
• Update CRM, Time Tracking, and Project Management tools with project updates/milestones, time tracking, and client updates and configurations.
• Effectively communicate project expectations and progress to our clients, team members, and quality team in a timely and clear manner.
• Assist in the preparation and delivery of training materials for clinical site training, including controlled documents, recorded presentations, SCORM modules, and user/role import spreadsheets.
• Understand and maintain quality and compliance requirements and adhere to standard operating procedures to ensure successful and compliant training outcomes.
• Work closely with the Virtual Events Teams to ensure successful webinars and webcasts are planned, executed, and properly recorded for the client.
• Work closely with the L&D (Learning and Development) Teams to bridge communication between the client and oversee development of custom training modules and content creation/enhancement all while ensuring adherence to the versioning and compliance requirements.
• Continually strive to improve project management processes by enhancing best practices and proactively identifying areas of improvement.
• Understand development release notes and how platform updates will impact product set-up or client usage.
• Support the development and implementation of SOPs, Monitoring Plans, Guidelines and Work Instructions alongside Quality.
• Create handbook articles/playbooks for implementation processes.
• Work with support team to identify end-user issue trends and collaborate to remedy

Qualifications

• 5+ years project management experience
• Experience working in a regulated industry OR experience executing work to align with structured guidelines/processes/requirements.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
• Perceptive, collaborative, and strongly customer-orientated with demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project implementation
• High level of integrity on multiple tasks, strong work ethic, willing to put in the time and effort to complete critical tasks on time with quality
• Strong planning, organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage changing priorities, handle multiple projects, meet deadlines and adapt to a changing business environment
• Work autonomously and possess the ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources and to be persuasive, encouraging, and motivating
• Experience in providing high-touch customer service and communication
• Experience defining and documenting processes, and driving continuous improvement to processes via process measurement/metrics

Extra Credit

• Experience working in the Life Science, Clinical Trial, or regulated industries
• Experience in the LMS or Training industries
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
• Experience with Asana, TaskRay or similar project management software
• PMP certification or equivalent
